Every figure is the brand's own published term, checked 2026, not a measurement. GigSky prices are list prices; it was running a temporary sale when we checked. "Unlimited" with a daily cap is really a fixed plan sold by the day. Multiply the cap by the days and you get the guaranteed full-speed data, which is the only data you can plan around.

On paper Saily's and Airalo's unlimited tie as the cheapest per guaranteed gigabyte at 43 cents. That number is a fiction for almost everybody, because it assumes you burn all five gigabytes every single day for a month. Nobody on holiday in Italy does that. The row that matters is the last one: 20GB for $23.99 covers a fortnight of heavy tourist use for a third the price of a month of unlimited, and it does not expire for ninety days.

The fixed-plan row is Airalo 5GB/7 days, GigSky 10GB/30, GigSky 20GB/90 and GigSky 50GB/180. Compare it against the middle usage row, which is where most travelers actually land, and unlimited loses every column by ten to thirty dollars. It only starts winning in the bottom row on a month-long trip, and even there GigSky's 50GB at $33.89 covers 52GB of usage for about half the price of a month of unlimited. A gigabyte of tethered data is about two hours of video calling, or one morning of ordinary browser-and-email work, or ten minutes of anything that syncs a folder. If the laptop is why you are buying unlimited, Holafly is the one plan on this page that will not do the job. Checked 2026.

Airalo prints 5GB a day and 1 Mbps after it. That is enough certainty to decide whether it fits your habits before you pay, which two of the four alternatives make impossible.
GigSky Unlimited is sold by the day: $3.49 for one, $10.49 for three. Nobody else here sells a single unlimited day. For a week or longer, Saily is cheaper.
The middle usage row for fourteen days is 11GB. GigSky's 20GB at $23.99 covers it with room to spare and ninety days of validity, against $43.99 and up for unlimited over the same fortnight.

Airalo is $64.00 for 30 days, Holafly $64.50 and uncapped on the phone, GigSky $65.99, Yesim $68.40 with no published cap. Checked 2026. Is unlimited data in Italy really unlimited?
Only Holafly's, and only on the phone: it publishes no daily cap and separately limits hotspot to 1GB a day. Airalo and Saily cap at 5GB a day then about 1 Mbps, GigSky at 3.5GB a day, and Yesim will not say.
Which unlimited Italy eSIM has the biggest daily allowance?
Airalo and Saily tie at 5GB a day at full speed, then roughly 1 Mbps. Saily is the cheaper of the two. GigSky's figure is 3.5GB a day. Holafly publishes no daily cap on the phone at all.
Do I need unlimited data for Italy?
Almost certainly not. A normal two-week Italian holiday with photos and social media is around 11GB, which a 20GB fixed plan covers for $23.99 against $43.99 or more for unlimited. Unlimited earns its price for heavy streaming, long stays or nightly video calls.
